What is the purpose of landscape?

Landscapes and features are important because they contribute significantly to our well-being and quality of life. They provide the larger context in which we live our lives. Living in aesthetically pleasing and culturally significant landscapes improves our sense of well-being. Landscaping is an art of planning routes, promenades, lawns, shrubs, gardens, flower beds, etc., in order to form a beautiful setting for a building.

The main purpose of landscaping is to create a cheerful environment around the building and provide occupants with healthy breath, good looks and natural beauty. Parks, gardens, squares, entire cities and nature are some of the places that landscape architects design with people in mind, to bring them together or give them places to spend time alone. Landscape architects create public spaces for people to enjoy the outdoors, play, walk or bike, or walk and experience nature. The goal is to create these places in ways that help improve the environment and promote people's health over time.

A main objective of good landscape design is to create a harmonious relationship between housing and land. To help them work together and appear to be together, a plan is considered successful when it is achieved.
